Adding an American flag pole to your house provides a sense of pride for many homeowners. Whether you’re flying the American flag or some alternative symbol you feel passionate about, being able to do so on your property is nice.

You might not have realized what an American flag pole for your house says about you, but those who see it on your property will know you’re loyal and proud. There are a few FAQs you might have regarding your new flagpole. We have the answers for you, as well as some tips and tricks for finding the perfect one for you!

How Should Your American Flag pole for Your House be Installed in the Ground?

It’s quite simple! Usually, installation takes an hour or so. The ABS plastic ground sleeve required for installation is included in the Titan Telescoping Flagpole Kit

ABS plastic is far more weather-resistant than PVC pipe. To install the telescoping flagpole, you simply dig a hole according to the measurements provided below.

You will need a 14″ diameter by 28″ depth post-sized hole. You will also need concrete and pea gravel to complete your installation. You can find installation guidelines with pictures included in your kit.

Pea Gravel is an excellent material for drainage and is often used in gardening for that exact purpose. It also provides stability while you are working with the concrete and once it sets.

Should You Be Concerned About Weather and Your American Flagpole?

Flagpole Farm’s Titan telescoping 20′ and 25′ flagpoles are heavy-duty poles that can support up to two flags that are no larger than 4’x6′ attached.

Lighter duty poles can handle up to 75 mph, while the 20′ and 25′ poles can handle winds up to 95 mph.

As mentioned above, the Telescoping Flagpole Kit comes with a ground sleeve. This sleeve is installed in the ground, meaning you slide the flagpole itself into the sleeve.

In inclement weather, if you’re worried about your flagpole, you can take it out and store it until the storm passes.

What Does the Titan Telescoping Flagpole Kit Include?

Except for the concrete and pea gravel, the kit comes with everything you need to get your American flag pole for your house installed and operational.

Additionally, the kit includes a Premium Nylon US Flag and one completed Titan Telescoping Flagpole.

The flag has a reinforced box stitch and stitched stars at the fly end. You will also find the ground sleeve and a gold ball ornament required for installation.

Each Titan Telescoping Flagpole comes ready to fly two flags. This allows you to show off pride for two distinct reasons, whether that’s a home divided for the Super Bowl or the American Flag.

What Else Can You Expect from the Titan Telescoping Flagpole Kit?

  • Unlike painted or powder-coated poles, the anodized metal tubes won’t corrode, scratch, or chip. The 20′ & 25′ poles’ bases feature a 3-inch diameter and a 12-gauge wall thickness. The base part of the 15′ and 20’LT poles have a 14-gauge wall thickness and a 2.5″ diameter.
  • Two (2) flags can be flown from each of our flagpoles. The flags fasten to a spring clip that is fastened to a series of swivel rings. In order to prevent wrapping, this enables the flags to revolve 360 degrees around the pole.
  • The swivel rings and internal interlocking sleeve mechanism are made of Lexan plastic. Polycarbonate resin thermoplastics include Lexan. It is incredibly resilient to significant temperature changes and extremely strong, to put it simply.
  • Simply transfer the flag from the upper position to the lower position on your flagpole to fly it at half-staff. The pole should be extended all the way. You’ll be in the ideal position for half-staff.

What distinguishes the Titan Telescoping Flagpole Kit from other telescoping flagpoles?

According to Flagpole Farm’s FAQ page, the revolutionary internal interlocking sleeve system we employ to lift, lower, and lock the pole into place is what sets us apart the most.

Each component is very simple to raise and lower thanks to this interlocking sleeve system, which also offers exceptional stability at each joint once it is put into place.

The majority of other systems at each joint either employ a “screw-in” or a “push button” approach. Over time, those systems have a tendency to be less dependable since they are more likely to malfunction due to windy conditions or because of everyday wear and tear.
